NBA Commissioner Adam Silver appeared on David Letterman this week to talk about the All-Star Game in New York, and the Knicks unsurprisingly came up.

To honor the All-Star Game, Letterman had NBA commissioner Adam Silver on the show to talk about the big game and how the NBA has changed.
Among other topics, Adam Silver discussed with Letterman — however briefly — that he’s spoken to James Dolan about the angry email he sent to a Knicks fan.
The controversy really isn’t that big of a controversy if you follow Dolan and his antics as owner of the Knicks. There has long been a rift between fans and Dolan, whom many think is to overbearing and is actually holding his own team back by not letting things happen.
This email to an angry fan is not really out of the ordinary for Dolan, and Silver’s lack of surprise and anger over it is proof that there has been a tolerance built up to what the Knicks owner can and will do.
