With only 10 teams stepping onto the hardwood tonight, finding that perfect lineup could be a bit trickier than some hope. I have taken the time to do some research to find the best value picks tonight, but remember, last-minute injury updates appear to be a reoccurring theme this season; so before locking in that lineup be sure to check the updated injury report HERE. Also, I will be live tweeting throughout the day any injury updates and lineup changes. Stay tuned for those updates HERE. With that being said, here are your FanDuel NBA Daily Picks and Lineups for February 10:
Starting, at Point Guard
Ty Lawson – 8400
Over his past few games, he hasn’t hit the 5x mark, coming just short multiple times. Has match-ups haven’t been the most favorable though. Tonight, he faces the Lakers; they are the absolute worst against point guards this season. I also do not see this game being a blowout, so the starters should play well into the 4th quarter.
Jordan Clarkson – 4900
5 of his last 6 games have been over 5x value, he has even gone as far up as 6x and 7x. That 1 game that didn’t make it was a 6 point outing, so there is some risk here. Ty Lawson is usually a good defender, but over the past 5 games, the Nuggets have allowed the 5th most points to point guards.
Honorable Mention:
DJ Augustin – 7200
Mike Conley – 6800
Next: Shooting Guards

James Harden – 11200
Time to pay up. He has been on a tear lately. He is also the league’s leading scorer. Tonight he faces the Suns, who are the 2nd fastest paced team in the league. He will get even more possessions than he is used to, which means even more points for him. #FearTheBeard
Eric Bledsoe – 8400
He has missed some time, but not due to injury; he was away for the birth of his child. There isn’t a known (to me) science to this, but for some reason, when an athlete has a child or suffers a loss, he tends to play at a higher level. Which is exactly what Bledsoe will need to do to keep up with this hot Rockets team.
Honorable Mention:
Aaron Afflalo – 5500
Next: Small Forwards
Feb 7, 2015; Philadelphia, PA, USA; Charlotte Hornets forward Gerald Henderson (9) goes up for a shot as Philadelphia 76ers center Nerlens Noel (4) defends during the second quarter of the game at the Wells Fargo Center. Mandatory Credit: John Geliebter-USA TODAY Sports
Trevor Ariza – 5500
1) He plays a ton of minutes
2) He has been on a hot streak lately
3) Plays fast paced Suns
He is a great play at a low price. He’s a lock for 5x value tonight.
Gerald Henderson – 5700
Over his past few games he has really stepped up in the wake of the injuries in Charlotte. Over his past 4 games, he has played around 36.5 minutes, and averaged around 35 points (6.14 value). The Pistons aren’t exactly scrubs defensively against the 3, but he should have no problem achieving value tonight given his recent usage rate.
Honorable Mention:
Wilson Chandler – 5800
Next: Power Forwards
January 29, 2015; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Chicago Bulls forward Pau Gasol (16) shoots against the defense of Los Angeles Lakers center Robert Sacre (50) during the second half at Staples Center. Mandatory Credit: Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports
Josh Smith – 6100
He has had an average value around 4.5x over each of his last 7 games. His usage continues to rise with Superman out. Tonight’s game against Phoenix means a faster pace, more possessions, and more FanDuel points.
Pau Gasol – 9700
His stat-line for both of his last 2 games has been 20-15-4, and has scored 47 and 52 fantasy points respectively. He continues to put up huge numbers, and tonight, he goes up against the Kings, who rank in the bottom 10 defensively over their last 10 games.
Honorable Mention:
Greg Monroe – 8000
Kenneth Faried – 6300
Next: Centers
Feb 7, 2015; Salt Lake City, UT, USA; Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins (15) passes the ball during the first quarter against the Utah Jazz at EnergySolutions Arena. Mandatory Credit: Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports
DeMarcus Cousins 10800
He hasn’t crossed that 5x value mark too often, but he has been close. He has had 20-10 games in 5 straight, and that streak doesn’t look to end anytime soon. If you have the money to spend, he will be the top scorer at center tonight. However, he is still a safer play in 50/50 leagues tonight.
Jusuf Nurkic – 5000
Nurkic has over 5x value in 6 of his last 8 games. That’s about as consistent as it gets for someone of this price. He is a solid value play, and with the Lakers on the slate, a larger than average game should be expected of him. A good play in both 50/50 and GPP tonight.
Honorable Mention:
Marc Gasol – 8300
Next: Tonight's Optimal Lineup
