Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James is heavily featured in the trailer for “Trainwreck,” the Summer 2015 comedy starring Amy Schumer and Bill Hader. James plays a version of himself in the film.
It appears LeBron James’ feature-film debut is set to be a strong one.

The trailer for “Trainwreck,” the Summer 2015 comedy starring Amy Schumer and Bill Hader in which James has a role, was released on Wednesday and the Cleveland Cavaliers star shined in it.
James, playing a version of himself, was featured multiple times in the trailer and displayed some serious comedic chops.

It’s clear based on the trailer that LeBron plays the best friend of Hader’s character, so one has to figure moviegoers will see plenty of James in the film. That’s a good thing, considering how funny LeBron was delivering his mini-speech about “Downton Abbey” in the trailer.
The film is set to be released July 17.
LeBron is averaging 26.0 points, 7.4 assists and 5.5 rebounds per games this season with the Cavaliers. Cleveland is currently 32-21, the fifth best record in the Eastern Conference.
