The EPL is taking the weekend off in order for the FA cup 5th round fixtures to be played
English soccer is focusing on cup action this weekend, as we approach the business end of the FA Cup. After shock exits for Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham in the 4th round, this year anything is possible and people will be looking to the 5th round to see if any more upsets will be offered up.

West Brom are at home to West Ham, and after a 2-0 win over Swansea during the week they will go in to the game with some confidence. However, West Ham have to be deemed favorites for the game as they are enjoying their best season for years. Two good draws in a row against Southampton and Man Utd will see the Hammers believe they can go to West Brom and progress to the 6th round.
Liverpool travel to Crystal Palace looking for some revenge following a shock defeat in the league earlier this season.
The Reds are on a good run of form following a late win against 4th spot rivals Tottenham Hotspur mid-week. Liverpool are clear favorites going in to the game, but thatās the beauty of the FA cup; anything can happen.
Aston Villa are at home to Leicester City in their first game following the sacking of manager Paul Lambert. Villa fans were delighted with the news that Paul Lambert had lost his job following a run of games without a win that stretched to 9. Leicester are also on a poor run of form, and the fact that both these teams are still in the cup will be seen as a distraction to Premier League survival. Surviving in the league is far more important for both teams than a potential run in the cup.
