Funny man Kevin Hart adds another MVP trophy for his play in the NBA Celebrity Game.

The man is simply becoming a legend – in his own mind.

Comedian, actor and all-around funny man Kevin Hart won the MVP during tonight’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. This now marks the fourth straight time Hart’s taken home the award and America is to blame as they held the power of voting.

Hart’s East team lost the game, 60-56, to the West and the real MVP Arne Duncan who poured in 20 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Mike Golic even recognized this and called it a “Kanye Moment.” Check out Hart’s reaction to Golic closing in – flinching around like a kid who’s milk money was about to get stolen.

Unbelievable stuff. Only legends can move and groove the way he did on that court tonight.

First of all, his stature brought back shades of Spud Webb:

If you’re the short guy in a celebrity game, then you were definitely picked last to play kickball in grammar school.

On top of the fact his team lost and he was severely outplayed, Hart also had to suffer through this moment:

There are two ways to look at the Hart-MVP discussion.

Either you think Hart has now entered legendary status in the celebrity game and he deserves the hardware regardless of the outcomes; or you just chalk it up to another poor fan-voting system the NBA has installed for everything All-Star.

I do believe Damian Lillard and other folks would go with the latter.

Regardless of controversy, Hart did announce that he would be retiring after this game. He compared himself to LeBron James and Kobe Bryant on his way out.
