The Washington Nationals last season had a giveaway where they gave out Jayson Werth gnomes to fans who came out to the game.

The gnome was a hit with Werth’s beard making him the perfect player to be represented in gnome form.

With the Nationals releasing their newest promotional schedule, they are having another giveaway based off the outfielder’s magnificent beard.

This year, they are going even bigger with a Jayson Werth Chia Pet. Once again, is there a better player on the Nationals than Werth to have a Chia Pet of?

The first 20,000 lucky fans on August 5 will be able to snag one of them when the Nationals take on the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks.

If last year’s garden gnome was any indication, there should be a big turnout of people ready to get one of the Jayson Werth Chia Pets.
