With the NBA All-Star rosters being changed up thanks to injury and fatigue to the stars who have been selected for the teams, there is a growing opportunity for stars who weren’t given All-Star love to regain some glory. One of those players is Kevin Durant, who is likely to start the All-Star Game after initially missing the mark in the fan vote to earn the right.

According to Marc Stein from ESPN.com, the Western Conference All-Stars may have Kevin Durant as a starter tomorrow night.

Anthony Davis is the latest player to be dumped from the All-Star Game over an injury, as he joins the likes of Kobe Bryant and Blake Griffin as All-Stars who have to skip the game in New York over injury. That’s not the worst thing ever though, as it’s not as though this is the last chance Anthony Davis will have to be in an All-Star Game and it gives Kevin Durant a deserving starting role.

Of course, this is all tentative but the All-Star Game getting Durant as a starter is probably best for everyone. Anthony Davis will be back — and so will Durant — but this solution to losing Davis for this year’s game is an option everyone can be happy with.
