Ray Allen will decide his NBA future in the coming days, but the Miami Heat seem to be out of the running to land him as they have no interest in a deal.
The Miami Heat are gunning for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference but they’re not one of the contending teams interested in a Ray Allen deal. Despite the fact that he helped them win a title in 2013 and was there for another run in 2014, the Heat reportedly have no interest in a Ray Allen deal this upcoming week.

Allen is expected to make his decision on what to do with his NBA future after the All-Star Break but signing with the Heat doesn’t see to be among those options.
According to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald, the Miami Heat haven’t reached out to Ray Allen and failed to offer him a contract this past summer.
"Though the Heat spoke to Ray Allen last summer, Miami surprisingly never made an offer to re-sign him. Allen is considering whether to resume his career, likely with a contender."
This makes a little bit of sense, as the Heat were focused on getting players who would impress LeBron James into re-signing with team. That didn’t happen though as LeBron is now in Cleveland and Ray Allen is favored to sign there this week.
Miami could use Ray Allen’s talents coming off the bench but they hardly have the assets or the attraction to get him there. Cleveland still seems like the best bet for Ray Allen, but that’s all assuming he even decides to come back for another season.
Golden State San Antonio and Memphis all remain options for Ray Allen as well with his self imposed deadline coming up later this week.
