Romelu Lukaku reportedly wants out of Everton
At 21 years-old, Romelu Lukaku is on his way to becoming one of the best players in the world. However, he doesn’t want to continue playing for Everton and he has reportedly said that he would like to move to a top club.

Before his permanent switch to the Dogs of War, one of the nicknames for Everton, Lukaku was playing for Everton on a loan. However, after a successful eight-month span with the span, Everton went on and paid Chelsea £28m in the summer transfer window.
After returning home to play his old team in Chelsea, Everton would lose 1 nil, but it was more less what happened after the game with Lukaku than what happened during the game. When asked about Chelsea and how it was like playing for his old team, Lukaku threw an underhanded punch at Everton.
"“They know I’m a good player but that I want to develop so I can eventually get back to playing for a club like Chelsea.”"
Granted the likelihood of Chelsea making a big payday for Lukaku is slim considering Chelsea’s starting XI is one of the best in the world and they gel tremendously well. However, Lukaku also said that he would like to play for a top club in the future.
"“I don’t have a secret ambition to rejoin — there are other clubs in the world. I just want to grow as a player and eventually arrive at a top club again.”"
In this year’s English Premier League season, Everton has struggled. Currently, they are sitting at 12th place tied with Crystal Palace with just 27 points. Manager Roberto Martinez has struggled with The Blues in 2014 and given his age and the potential he could possibly waste, Lukaku has to start thinking of the future. Ross Barkley also signed a long-term deal last season and he has struggled this season as well. Everton is inconsistent and it looks as if they’re stuck in mediocrity. Lukaku is such a great talent and for him to fully maximize his potential, he will need to go to a top club with more talent around him.
