Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry will be wearing shoes inspired by his favorite candy for the three-point contest

With the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend taking over New York, stars are taking the opportunity to market their brands, while also bringing some individual flare and personality to the court with their sneakers.

One of those players is Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry.

When he steps up to the three-point line for the Three-Point Shootout at the Barclays Center on Saturday night, Curry will be wearing some very vibrant kicks.

The shoes the Warriors young phenom and MVP candidate will be wearing are unlike any other, because the Under Armour sneakers are inspired by his love for his favorite candy, Sour Patch Kids.

There are two variations of the shoe, a high-top and a low-top.

The, shoes although similar, offer some differences such as the low-top soles being all color.

Stephen Curry isn’t the first athlete to have shoes inspired by his love for candy. Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch had his own Skittles-inspired football cleats.

For Curry, he has not only a chance to show the world his new kicks, but why he is the best three-point shooter in the game.

Let’s just hope Warriors fans don’t begin throwing Sour Patch Kids onto the court every time Stephen Curry scores or the nation may have a Sour Patch Kids shortage.
