Zach LaVine’s dunks from the Slam Dunk Contest in super slow motion are awesome
Saturday night the Slam Dunk Contest was brought back from the dead, and all it took was a breathtaking performance from 19-year-old Timberwolves rookie Zach LaVine. LaVine had everyone in awe of what he was able to do on that New York City court and everyone has been talking about him since.
With the performance that he put on Saturday night, you would certainly venture to think that the NBA would look to capitalize on this and indeed they have. People have been obliterating the NBA in recent years with cries of making the dunk contest better and LaVine did just that for them.
Well, one of the ways that they’ve decided to capitalize on what LaVine did Saturday night is by releasing this awesome video of LaVine’s dunks in super slow motion.
Just unreal. It might be even better watching these in super slow motion because it really gives some perspective into what this young man was able to do in the Slam Dunk Contest.
At 19 years of age, LaVine became the second-youngest player to win the contest next to Kobe Bryant.
