Can you draft a new playbook without goal-line slants? No? OK, then we’ll have to deal with what’s available.

Let’s say, for whatever reason, Seattle doesn’t address the lack of a wide receiver in free agency. Sure, I know the receiver corps thinks it’s one of the best but while it’s OK, this group isn’t all it could be. If a free agent isn’t brought in, they should grab Coates. He’s big, fast and athletic and while his hands can be a bit inconsistent, his flaws are outweighed by the positives.

By the way, if Marshawn Lynch isn’t extended by the time the draft rolls around, I wouldn’t be shocked by a running back here. If Gurley falls or Melvin Gordon is around, they could be the future in place of Lynch.
. WR. Auburn. Sammie Coates. 31. player. 36
