College Basketball rankings: Week 15 AP Poll released; Top five remains the same

The Week 15 college basketball AP Poll was released on Monday


Tournament time is drawing near and teams are trying to rack up as many wins as possible to get the highest seed they can in the NCAA Tournament.

The top five in the AP Poll remains the same after Kentucky held on against LSU, then rolled over South Carolina and remains at No. 1 with a 25-0 record. Virginia, Gonzaga, Duke and Wisconsin once again round out the top five after all won their conference games.

The big winner this week was Utah, who moved into the Top 10 at No. 9, overtaking Notre Dame and Louisville. As for the mid-majors, Northern Iowa came in at No. 11 and Wichita State at No. 13. The two Missouri Valley Conference teams are on a collision course to meet one another in their conference tournament.

There were no new teams in the Top 25 this week.
