The NBA All Star break not only signals an important milestone in the NBA Playoff Race, but it also means that Major League Baseball Spring Training is quickly approaching and it is time to get started with serious fantasy baseball preparations.  The extended break is tough for daily fantasy baseball players, but it does give us a chance to look ahead and start prepping for daily fantasy baseball. Today we’ll start our new series with a look at the Baltimore Orioles starting rotation.

More from Baltimore Orioles

Although it doesn’t feel like spring here in Boston, pitchers and catchers are starting to report this week with the O’s rolling in to Sarasota later this week with pitchers and catchers starting on Thursday.

Last season was a successful one for Baltimore as they advanced to the ALCS where they were swept by the red-hot Royals who were then cooled off in the World Series by the World Champion San Francisco Giants.

One of the main reasons for Baltimore’s run of success was their deep, diverse pitching staff which helped them claim their first division championship since 1997.  A solid pitching staff is the key to success in fantasy baseball as well. Whether you’re gearing up for a season of daily fantasy baseball action or looking to make a run at your season-long league championship, knowing who is in the rotations around the league and who is trending upward is vital to your success.

To help you get an idea of where each team’s rotation is heading into the season, we’ll be previewing each team’s top options starting today with the Baltimore Orioles starting rotation. On the following slides, you can find the projected Baltimore starting pitchers, their numbers from last season, and a look at what to expect this season.
