It has been a whirlwind month for Rob Gronkowski who won his first Super Bowl to begin the month and spend his Valentine’s Day with a very special friend.
Rob Gronkowski looks like he’s about the happiest guy to be playing in the NFL for the New England Patriots and the record-breaking tight end lives his life to the fullest off the field.

After Gronkowski won his first career Super Bowl on Feb. 1 he has been seen chugging a beer at the Patriots’ Super Bowl parade, spiking a puck at a Boston Bruins game and even playing dodgeball at a minor league hockey game.
But what he did on Valentine’s Day may surprise you considering his larger-than-life “Gronk” persona.
Gronkowski was a special gues of Patriots owner Robert Kraft at his home where he welcomed five-year old James Fitzpatrick, a big fan of the Patriots who’s battling cancer. Kraft invited James and his family to his home where Gronkowski gave James his very own Rob Gronkowski jersey.

How awesome is that?! Gronk has a reputation as a party animal and oversized kid, but he showed he has a heart of gold in this touching gesture to a young fan battling cancer and his family.
A jersey is the least he could do, but taking the time out of his day to spend time with James and his sister and parents is something that should be celebrated.
It takes a real man to do something like that so kudos to Gronkowski for giving the Fitzpatrick family a memory they’ll be able to cherish forever.
As if meeting Gronk and Robert Kraft wasn’t enough, James was also was named “Commissioner for the Day” by the NYPD.
