With no defense in the 64th NBA All-Star Game, the world’s best players took turns dunking and throwing down alley-oops Sunday night.


Although the 2015 Sprite Slam-Dunk Contest happened a day earlier, the All-Star Game was full of dunks.

On Sunday night, players took turns throwing down in the 64th NBA All-Star Game at Madison Square Garden. Houston Rocket‘s James Harden caught a one-handed pass and tomahawked it late in the first quarter.

Kyle Lowry made an over-the-head toss to Kyrie Irving for a slam. But let’s not forget LeBron James’ reverse alley-oop from Lowry.

With absolutely no defense, the best in the biz had a heyday on the hoop.

Russell Westbrook, who won MVP with 41 points, five rebounds and three steals, had his fair share of dunks as well. The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard even hit his head on the backboard while finishing an alley-oop in the third quarter.

The West defeated the East 163-158 in the highest-scoring NBA All-Star Game. Take a look at the top dunks in phantom slow motion:

The NBA returns from the All-Star Break on Thursday night, with a double-header.

In the first game of the night, the Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Dallas Mavericks. In the nightcap, the San Antonio Spurs travel to Los Angeles for a meeting with the Clippers.
