Tennessee Titans cornerback Jason McCourty will try to recruit his brother Devin to the Titans this offseason.

Twin brothers Jason and Devin McCourty have played with each other their entire childhoods and all the way through their college careers with Rutgers University. Jason was drafted in the sixth-round in the 2009 draft by the Tennessee Titans, while Devin was drafted the following year in the first-round by the New England Patriots. It was the first time the twin brothers would be playing on different teams.

According to NBC Sports Pro Football Talk, Jason would like to once again play with his brother Devin.

Devin his coming off his first Super Bowl championship with the Patriots and he is set to become a free agent. Jason is hoping that he can convince his brother to play with him in Tennessee. Of course, he knows it won’t be an easy task.

"I’ll see what I can do. It’s going to be hard to get him out of New England, Jason said, via NJ.com. You know how the business side of it goes. We’ll see. If he becomes a free agent, I’ll be doing everything in my power to try to get him to Tennessee."

Devin started all 16 games this year for the Patriots, including all 3 games in the postseason, including Super Bowl XLIX. This season, Devin recorded 59 tackles and 9 passes defensed with 2 interceptions and 1 forced fumble. In the playoffs, he added 8 tackles and 3 passes defensed with 1 interception. He’d be a valuable asset to a Titans secondary that is struggling to say the least.

Of course, like Jason stated, there is the whole business side to things. Devin just won a Super Bowl Championship, so he is going to be looking for a big pay-day this offseason. There is also word that the Patriots may opt to use the franchise tag on Devin, keeping him on the Patriots for at least one more year. Devin says he is waiting to see if the Patriots offer him a long-term contract before looking at other options.

It’d be hard for Devin to leave a team that just won a Super Bowl Championship and go to a team that isn’t even considered a playoff team. As much as I’m sure he would love to play with his brother again, he may want the chance to win another Super Bowl  just a bit more.
