There has never been an in between when it comes to Vince McMahon. You either love the exploits and success of Vinny Mac or loathe the fact that he has turned professional wrestling into a watered down soap opera.
One fan obviously took the latter side and showed his contempt for McMahon by hacking into the Twitter account of WWE standout Cesaro in order to fire off a series of tweets that were capped off by wishing McMahon a heaping helping of cancer.
Faux Cesaro started his Twitter rant early Tuesday morning by referring to WWE as a piece of s**t before following up with his wish of the jacked-up 69-year-old McMahon would get cancer.
The third tweet regarded Faux Cesaro’s frustration over the fact that he and Tyson Kidd wouldn’t get a tag team title shot (not realizing the real Cesaro and the real Kidd actually get their chance against the Usos at this Sunday’s Fastlane pay-per-view). This saga continued as he talked about why WWE paired him up with Paul Heyman last year and the company’s failure to “open their eyes” and see how good he was.
Rant complete, the hacker finally informed the real Cesaro that he now had his account back with the fact the new password ended with a 1.
We’re guessing that the tweets were from a real hacker looking to have fun at the expense of Cesaro. Granted, he has not received the push many expected following his win of the initial Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at last year’s WrestleMania, but the recent pairing with the equally underused Kidd has sparked the careers of both en route to an expected run as tag team champs.
As for killing off McMahon? To put it in the title of Mr. McMahon’s theme song, there’s no chance in hell that’s happening soon. Have you seen him lately? Even at 69, McMahon looks like the kind of man you’d want to roll into a dark alley with.
Still, this can’t make WWE feel at ease, considering this is the second misadventure in social media they’ve had in as many weeks. On the heels of Seth Rollins’ (aka Mr. Money in the Bank) dip into soft porn, WWE will probably have to do some readjusting in order to avoid getting into a long-term feud with Twitter.
