Hey, I heard you missed us, we’re back! As you let the opening chords of the Van Halen classic ā€œHot For Teacherā€ rattle around in your heads, I will let you know that the NBA is back with two games tonight. That also means that we here at FantasyCPR are also back with your nightly NBA FanDuel lineups for the second half of the NBA season!

Here are my FanDuel lineups for February 19:

Point Guards:

Bargain:

Tony Parker, Spurs ($5,400):Ā Parker’s cost is low enough now that you can take a chance on him and not feel cheated if his minutes are limited or he scores under 20 fantasy points, which he has done four times in his last ten games. Still, if you are looking for the cheapest 20 on the market at PG tonight, Parker is your man.

Worth The Cost:

Russell Westbrook, Thunder ($10,900):Ā You likely have to find a way to afford at least one of the expensive point guards tonight unless you want to take a big risk, but more on that in a minute. The Thunder haveĀ said that they plan on limiting Kevin Durantā€˜s minutes tonight. They have also said he won’t be limitied. If he is, expect Westbrook to pick up the slack. He has done that often this year in Durant’s absence. Heck, he does anyway. Westbrook has only been under 45 fantasy points (36.7) once in seven February games. He is coming off of an MVP performance in the All Star game, and could turn in another one of those tonight against the Mavericks.

Risky Plays:

Chris Paul, Clippers ($10,000): Paul has not been close to worth the cost for a lot of the season. That has changed some lately. Just keep in mind that the last time he played the Spurs on January 31, he was held to 29.6 fantasy points. That is nowhere close to what you need from his cost, but he may be the only one besides Westbrook who can sniff 30 at PG. Is it worth spending that much for though?

Rajon Rondo, Mavericks ($6,200):Ā Rondo will play tonight, and it is unclear whether he will have to wear a mask or not. To me, it doesn’t matter. Rondo has not performed up to expectations offensively in Dallas, and we really have no reason to think that will change. All his return does is destroy a great value play at PG in J.J. Barea.

My Lineups:

A and B: Westbrook and Parker ($16,300)

Next: Plenty Of Options At SG

December 27, 2014; Los Angeles, CA, USA; Los Angeles Clippers guard

J.J. Redick

Shooting Guards:

Bargains:

Marco Belinelli, Spurs ($4,200): Belinelli has lost some value since the Spurs are healthy, but he is still a sharpshooting assassin off the bench. He has averaged 17.5 fantasy points in the five games since his return to the lineup. He doesn’t provide great production, but he will give you consistency. He is still giving 4x value enabling you to chase stars elsewhere.

Jamal Crawford, Clippers ($5,400): It is Crawford, not Redick, who has been the better scorer fro real-life and fantasy purposes lately. Crawford has only been under 25 fantasy points once in his last six games. He has played at least 30 minutes in all of those games, so it is no coincidence. If you have the money, take Crawford over Redick.

Worth The Cost:

Monta Ellis, Mavericks ($7,200): Ellis has the most upside of any SG’s tonight, hence his higher price. If you take out his four minutes against the Clippers on February 9th, Ellis is averaging 33.1 fantasy points over his last ten games. No one else is a better shot for 30 at the position tonight. Spend the money if you have it.

Danny Green, Spurs ($6,200): Green has been over 25 fantasy points in each of his last three games. He was in a slump for the greater part of January, so it is nice to see some signs of life out of Green. He scored 29.4 fantasy points against the Clippers in their last meeting, so he isĀ a solid bet to do it again. The Clippers have had problems defending the two guard all year.

Risky Plays:

Manu Ginobili, Spurs ($5,100): Ginobili is still seeing around 25 minutes per game off of the bench, so he is still giving you decent value. He is averaging 24.8 fantasy points over his last five games, which is very close to 5x value. That said, he only mustered 14.4 fantasy points against the Clippers in their last meeting, so he may not reach his recent threshold.

J.J. Redick, Clippers ($4,500): Redick has put up 52.5 fantasy points in two games since his return after missing three games with back spasms. Before that, he had only hit 20 fantasy points once in his past six games. He only mustered 14.3 fantasy points against the Spurs last time, so he didn’t getĀ a lot of open looks. He might not be worth the risk tonight.

My Lineups:

A: Green andĀ Ginobili ($11,300)

B: Belinelli and Redick ($8,700)

Next: Is It Worth Taking A Chance On Durant?

Feb 4, 2015; San Antonio, TX, USA; San Antonio Spurs small forward

Small Forwards:

Bargain:

Al-Farouq Aminu, Mavericks ($4,500): Aminu’s production has slowed down some, but not enough to quit using him. Especially against a Thunder team that has a limited Kevin Durant at SF. Perry Ellis, Dion Waiters, and Jeremy Lamb aren’t much of a threat either. Aminu should have little problem reaching 20 fantasy points tonight, making him a solid 4.5x value.

Matt Barnes, Clippers ($5,000): Don’t look now, but Barnes has averaged 26.7 fantasy points over his last three games. He has picked up some scoring slack with Blake Griffin out, and is producing at a nice 5.4x value right now. He even put up 20.7 fantasy points against the Spurs in their last meeting, and that was with Griffin in the lineup. He should do even better than that tonight.

Worth The Cost:

Kawhi Leonard, Spurs ($7,700): Leonard has not been a consistent producer lately. He does have five games of over 35 fantasy points in his last ten, but also has three under 20 in that span. Still, the Clippers were one of those over 35 (36), so he could provide you with a very nice boost tonight if you decide to spend the money.

Risky Plays:

Chandler Parsons, Mavericks ($6,400): Parsons has been all over the place in terms of production lately, and it probably has something to do with the emergence of Aminu. He has been as low at 15.6 and as high as 42.8 all in the span of the last four games. Still, you can’t ignore the over 30 fantasy points in four of his last six games. The two that weren’t? They were under 20. Take the chance if you want. The one thing that does look good is the prospect of the Thunder limiting Durant’s minutes. Then again, that may not happen. There has been a lot of double-speak from the Thunder between their last game on February 11th and now.

Kevin Durant, Thunder ($10,700): The latest report has Durant proceeding as normal tonight. If he does, he is probably worth his price. In his last four games, he averaged 45.3 fantasy points. That is nearly 4.5x value! The fact that they initially said they would limit his minutes makes me a little bit nervous though.

My Lineups:

A: Leonard and Barnes ($12,700)

B: Durant and Barnes ($15,700)

Next: Where Do You Go With Griffin Out?

Feb 9, 2015; Denver, CO, USA; Oklahoma City Thunder forward

Serge Ibaka

Power Forwards:

Bargain:

NickĀ Collison, Thunder ($3,800): It was Collison, not Mitch McGary, that stepped up big against Memphis last Wednesday. Collison racked up a whopping 32.8 fantasy points on the vaunted Grizzlies frontcourt in the absence of Steven Adams. Collison is more of a true center than McGary is anyway, and should get the look against Dallas tonight as well. With the prospect of Tyson Chandler being limited a distinct possibility, you could see another performance of close to 10x value again tonight! It will be for one night only though, as the Thunder just traded for Enes Kanter.

Worth The Cost:

Serge Ibaka, Thunder ($6,800): Ibaka’s production has dipped again with Durant back, but not to the level where he isn’t worth this cost. He is still putting up games in the 20’s, which has him at 4x value. Just don’t expect any more 40 point games with Durant and Westbrook both in the lineup.

Risky Plays:

Dirk Nowitzki, Mavericks ($6,500): Nowitzki is a consistent producer, as made evident by his 25.9 fantasy point averaged over his last ten games. He is not a game-changer for the Mavs or your fantasy team anymore, but he is a solid asset at this price. He has little upside, but he will give you 4x value almost without fail.

Tim Duncan, Spurs ($7,700): Duncan has five games of over 35 fantasy points in his last eight. He has been under 20 in two of those though. Those games were against Detroit and the Clippers (before Griffin got hurt), so you can excuse that. What can Duncan do against the Griffin-less Clippers? Your guess is as good as mine, but I would also bet that it is better than the 16.1 that he got last time.

My Lineups:

A: Ibaka and Collison ($10,600)

B: Collison and Nowitzki ($10,300)

Next: It's Rough At C Tonight

Feb 9, 2015; Dallas, TX, USA; Los Angeles Clippers center

DeAndre Jordan

Center:

Bargain:

Spencer Hawes, Clippers ($3,800): Hawes has done a decent job filling in for Griffin, averaging 13.8 fantasy points per game with him out. That said, his minutes still have not been consistent. He is giving you near 4x value, so if you need to go cheap at center, he is likely the best option.

Worth The Cost:

DeAndre Jordan, Clippers ($9,000): There is a strong possibility that Jordan outscores everyone tonight. He has been dominant over his last two games, putting up 121.4 fantasy points in just TWO games! He has learned how to play without Griffin alongside of him, and that is a good thing for Jordan owners and the Clippers alike. He managed 41.3 fantasy points against the Spurs in their last meeting with Griffin on the court. He could rack up his third straight 20-20 game agianst the weak Spurs centers tonight.

Risky Plays:

Tyson Chandler, Mavericks ($6,500): Chandler’s ankle is not 100%, but he will play tonight. The fact that his ankle is still bugging him is the only thing that makes me a little nervous, because he has a great matchup against the Thunder. If he can play 30 minutes, he might get 40 fantasy points if you’re willing to take the risk.

Tiago Splitter, Spurs ($4,000): The center position is still a timeshare between Splitter andĀ Aron Baynes. Neither of them are much of a fantasy option, but if you must gamble, go with Splitter. He has averaged 14.7 fantasy points over his last ten games compared to 8.7 for Baynes. I told you neither were a good option….

My Lineups:

A and B: Jordan ($9,000)
