Miami Heat center Chris Bosh will miss the rest of the 2014-15 NBA season, according to the Miami Herald.
In a stunning turn of events, Chris Bosh’s season is reportedly over.

Bosh was admitted to a Miami hospital on Thursday and doctors initially feared the Miami Heat center could be dealing with a blood clot in his lungs, an injury that would sideline him for the season, according to Joseph Goodman of the Miami Herald.
Well, it unfortunately appears the doctors fears proved to be correct.
Goodman is now reporting that the Heat are expected to announce that Bosh will be out for the remainder of the season.

ESPN’s Dan Le Batard also posted a similar report on Twitter.

However, despite the two reports, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra is saying that the Heat are still waiting to find out more information about Bosh’s health.

Given that Le Batard and Goodman are credible reporters, it certainly seems unlikely that we will see Bosh in a Heat uniform again this season, which is a real shame.
However, the news that Bosh’s injury isn’t believed to be life-threatening, which Spoelstra told reporters was the case on Friday, and that the team expects him to make a full recovery, as Le Batard reported, is encouraging.
Bosh is averaging 21.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game this season.
