Adidas Awards NFL signees with Yeezy shoes (Photo)
NFL prospects that signed with Adidas at the NFL combine are being rewarded with Adidas’ new Yeezy shoe by Kanye West.
Adidas was planning to give the fastest players to sign with them and run a 40-yard dash a slick Porsche 911 with a tiger on the side, yes a tiger, but they can’t do that anymore because it infringes upon the NFL’s deal with General Motors.
Instead, they’re getting $100,000 and Yeezy 750 Boost shoes that sold out on Feb. 16.
The shoes were orginally $350, but after Adidas’ 9,000 pairs quickly sold out, they’re selling for well over $1,000 on sites like eBay.
