Chris Conley of Georgia breaks multiple records at scouting combine
Georgia wide receiver Chris Conley has really been taking advantage of today’s NFL scouting combine, showing off crazy athletic skills.

First, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds, good for third among wide receivers. He was just getting warmed up.
He followed that up with a 45-inch vertical leap, which ties the combine record. Then he went to the long jump and broke that record too, jumping 11 feet, seven inches.

Impressive stuff. He’s going to shoot up some draft boards from this. And while the combine isn’t necessarily the best way to judge draft prospects (teams will always live in fear of drafting the next Tony Mandarich), it never hurts to have a freakish athlete on your team. In any case, there are a couple of teams who weren’t paying attention to Conley before who are now.
