The NFL Network compared Marshawn Lynch and Melvin Gordon, but Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Justin Britt didn’t like it.

Melvin Gordon is the highest ranked running back prospect in the NFL Draft and the NFL Network tweeted out a comparison between him and one of the top backs in the NFL, Marshawn Lynch.

Well, Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Justin Britt didn’t like that idea too much.

Gordon and Lynch share the same weight, close height, the same 40-yard dash time and a very similar vertical, but Gordon still has much to prove if he wants to get on the Beast Mode’s level.

Although, you could say Gordon was the Beast Mode of college football this season.

Coming out of Wisconsin, Melvin Gordon had 2,587 rushing yards and 29 rushing touchdowns and came in second in the Heisman Trophy voting behind Marcus Mariota. Melvin Gordon is fast and he’s built making for a quality balanced running back who can pound it up the middle as well as take it to the outside and burn you. He ran a 4.52 40-yard dash time Saturday that ranked fifth among the running backs.

Most mock draft have Melvin Gordon as the top running back, going somewhere late in the first round.

The current FanSided Mock Draft has Gordon going 32nd overall to the New England Patriots.

While the NFL Network comparison was made just to show the similar measurables between Gordon and Lynch, the player comparison he often receives in terms of playing style is Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles.
