Kentucky is absolutely loaded with talented athletes, and that means that they are usually good for at least one nice highlight dunk per game.
Marcus Lee isn’t one of Kentucky’s star freshman or even a cornerstone of their team, but he sure knows how to make people notice him.

He’s a member of one of the platoons, so he only plays a bit over 12 minutes per game. In those minutes, he averages just a pinch more than a bucket, and that bucket usually comes from a sweet dunk.
While Kentucky was dominating Auburn for what will be their 27th straight win of the season to keep their undefeated record alive, Lee went up in the air to slam down an alley-oop right before the half.
That is what Lee does: he uses his athleticism to throw down some nice dunks, grab a few boards and maybe block a shot or two. He’s that energy big man every team needs.
Since Lee is not one of Kentucky’s stars who is bound to be drafted in the first round, he will probably return for his junior season next year to give the Wildcats some much-needed experience and leadership.
However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him grow into a really good player next year and then get drafted. After all, that’s what John Calipari does best.
