Kevin White records blazing 40-yard dash time at combine
By Josh Sanchez
West Virginia wide receiver Kevin White lit up the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday, with blazing times in the 40-yard dash.
Just how fast is Kevin White? Well, if Saturday’s workouts at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine were any indication, the former West Virginia Mountaineers standout is as fast as you can get in this year’s draft class.

During his first attempt at the 40-yard dash, Kevin White recorded a blazing time of 4.35 seconds.
If you thought perhaps that was just a flash in the pan time, he followed it up with a 4.36 on his second attempt down the track. The time in itself is impressive, but when you consider his size — just under 6-foot-3 and 215 pounsd — White is an absolute freak.
To continue his great day at the underwear olympics, White recorded a 36.5-inch vertical and had hands measured at 9.25 inches.
He has all of the measurables you could ask for.
Interestingly enough, Kevin White compares very similarly to Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, a former first-round pick, when you take the numbers into consideration.
Entering Saturday, White was already considered a potential first-round pick and his workout in Indianapolis likely all but sealed the deal on his first-round status.
