Netflix’s original political drama House of Cards will return for Season 3 when the full season drops on Friday. In the meantime, Netflix is happy to torment us.
Netflix has released another video teasing the release Friday of Season 3 of its award-winning political drama House of Cards and, as the streaming video giant has been wont to do, the teaser is heavy on tease, not so much with any clues as to what’s next.

At the end of Season 2, Kevin Spacey’s delightfully deranged Francis Underwood assumed power as President of the United States, completing a two-season odyssey from spurned Secretary of State candidate to leader of the free world, with only a few bodies and careers left smoldering in his wake.
And much like the real-life political world, House of Cards is still recovering from what it claims is a “technical glitch” that released the show for 58 minutes on Feb. 11—at least enough time to get in the first episode of the season, if you caught it in time.
Showrunner Bruce Willimon told the New York Daily News that the leak wasn’t planned, but that it worked out OK.
“It was not planned, but for an unplanned thing it went pretty well,” Willimon said. “The way Francis Underwood would have put it is: ‘If you take credit for chaos it suddenly becomes order.’”
