An interview with Justin Bartha quickly turned awkward after he hit on a sideline reporter during a New York Knicks home game
Knicks fans are probably not having the best time lately watching their team drop game after game. Especially so after rumors of Carmelo Anthony potentially shutting it down for the rest of the season ahve surfaced. So the Knicks organization is trying to spruce things up a little bit for their TV audience by interviewing movie stars during games. With the Oscars to air Sunday evening, why not give a little love to some celebrities who are in the stands?
Justin Bartha, most famous for his role as “Doug” in the hangover films, made a few not so subtle hints at sideline reporter, Jill Martin, during a Knicks game that they should “do something” together. The interview was pretty awkward from the beginning as soon as he put his arm around her. He also would not drop a joke about Martin continually texting him about Bartha’s co-star in the Hangover films, Bradley Cooper.
What makes this all a little bit stranger is that Bartha is married. Last year he got married to his personal trainer, Lia Smith, and they currently have a one year old daughter.

Apparently, making moves during the Knicks game is not off limits to Bartha, despite having a family back home. Bartha might be sleeping on the couch tonight if his wife catches wind of all the sideline drama he has been stirring up.
If this wasn’t enough for Martin, a fan got caught checking her out on camera later in the game. The fan then made eye contact with the camera and gave a little wink to the audience at home.
Jill Martin must be feeling pretty good about herself. Getting hit on by popular actors. Fans are checking her out. Her confidence must be through the roof.
Then again, maybe every guy at Madison Square Garden should stop drooling over the reporter. After all, she is just trying to do her job. I would have loved to have seen her reaction if she found out what the young fan was doing. But she never got the chance. I guess this is just another day in the life of a sideline reporter.
