After a rare win for the Los Angeles Lakers they celebrated in a big way in a postgame interview for Jeremy Lin.
It has been a difficult year for the Lakers who lost Kobe Bryant for the rest of the season after shoulder surgery and lost first round pick Julius Randle to a broken leg in another lost year.

But on Sunday night against longtime rivals, the Boston Celtics, the Lakers gave their fans a reason to celebrate with a rare win. The Lakers went to overtime against the Celtics after Avery Bradley hit a three-pointer as time expired in regulation but the Lakers outscored the Celtics 12-5 in the extra frame to snap their seven-game losing streak.
Jeremy Lin led the offensive attack for the Lakers with a season-high 25 points and six assists to improve to 14-41 on the year. The wins have been few and far between for the Lake Show this year so after the overtime win they celebrated like they just won a seven-game playoff series.
Lin was being interviewed by team reported Mike Trudell after the thrilling win when his teammates, Nick Young, Jordan Hill, and Carlos Boozer videobombed the game’s leading scorer in an impromptu celebration.
Like Lin said at the end of the interview, it has been a long year for the Lakers and their fans so you can excuse them for acting like they just advanced to the NBA Finals.
I mean, who knows when the next win will come for Lin, Young, Hill and Boozer so you may as well celebrate like its your last one.
The Lakers are used to playing for division titles and NBA championships as one of the most successful franchises in the league and in professional sports, but this year they’re competing for winning the draft lottery and a shot at drafting a potential superstar to help facilitate their rebuilding effort.
