After competing at the NFL Scouting Combine over the weekend, Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota is now focused on his upcoming pro day that takes place next month.

Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota excelled at the NFL combine last weekend and solidified himself as one of the top two quarterbacks for the 2015 NFL Draft.

Mariota ran the fastest 40 time among quarterbacks with a blazing 4.52 that places him in elite territory when it comes to his speed, but he also equipped himself well in interviews with NFL teams and with the NFL Network media who had him on set for an extended segment with fellow quarterback prospect, Jameis Winston.

With the combine in the rearview mirror, Mariota now shifts his focus to putting on a show at Oregon’s pro day for his final audition for NFL teams in need of a potential franchise quarterback.

His pro day is coming soon with Mariota and the rest of Oregon’s draft hopefuls set to workout for NFL teams on March 12.

If Mariota shows well at the pro day like he did at the combine and convince teams he is more than just a system quarterback in the Ducks’ scheme and can throw the ball in tiny windows and anticipate his throws more than he has been asked to do in college, he could be a top-six pick.

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, Chicago Bears and St. Louis Rams needing to upgrade the position, he could go as high as No. 1 to the Bucs but should slot somewhere in the top 10 at least.

The Cleveland Browns pick outside the top 10 but have been mentioned as a possible trade partner with their quarterback position in shambles and could trade their two first round picks to get in position to draft the reigning Heisman winner.
