The New York Knicks team president, Hall of Famer and former coach of the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers went to Twitter to complain about the team’s performance.

The New York Knickerbockers have been a joy to watch this season for everyone except Knicks fans.Ā Madison Square Garden is currently the home of the NBA’s worst record at 10-45, new head coach Derek Fisher has seemed completely over his head running Jackson’s triangle offense and the team plays Andrea Bargnani 20 minutes per game.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

The Knicks played host to ClevelandĀ on SundayĀ afternoon, and recorded their seventh straight loss to the surging Cavaliers.

Cleveland was rewarded with a consistent effort from across their starting lineup: 18 points for LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, 17 for J.R. Smith and 16 for Kevin Love.

New York also found consistent effort in their lineup on defense, in allowing easy inside opportunities.

The definitive highlight of the game was an alley-oop from former Knicks Iman Shumpert and Smith in the fourth quarter, a dunk that left LeBron trying to hold his brain together as it began to melt and Knicks team president Phil Jackson reaching for some over the counter Prilosec.

… Can you ā€œgiveā€ someone an SMH? I may have been using that wrong.

Jackson made the mistake of believing that there is any presence of a god at MSG.

Any seasoned Knicks fan at this point is a basketball atheist.

After having experienced nothingĀ but success with the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers, this change in the level of competitiveness becomes all the more frustrating for Phil Jackson. The fact that the highlight came from two players who were on New York at the beginning of the season is just salt on the wound.

As for the Cavaliers, they still remain a half game behind the Bulls in the Central division, but now are in position to strike deep into the postseason with a sturdy lineup top-to-bottom. Unfortunately they can’t play the Knicks in MSG every night.
