Helped: Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE, UCLA

As predicted, the man you can simply call “Owa” for your own sanity, showed up at the combine looking fantastic. He measured in at 6-foot-3 and 267 pounds, with massive 11-inch hands, then turned in a performance to match his impressive physique.

Odighizuwa ran a 4.62-second 40-yard dash, had a 39-inch vertical jump, a 127-inch broad jump, a 4.19-second 20-yard shuttle and an 11.75-second performance in the 60-yard shuttle. All of those were among the best performances by defensive linemen. He also turned in a 7.36-second three-cone drill, and had 25 reps on the bench press. Those numbers were average but didn’t take away from the rest of his workout.

Odighizuwa projects as a 4-3 defensive end or a 3-4 outside linebacker. At the combine he needed to show that he had the speed and athleticism to handle being an edge rusher at the next level. He did that and then some. His versatility and overall athleticism have likely pushed Odighizuwa into the first-round discussion.
