The New England Patriots are expected to show interest in signing wide receiver Percy Harvin if he is cut by the New York Jets this offseason.
Percy Harvin is coming off of an embarrassing season that was split between the Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets, and is expected to be cut this offseason. If that does indeed happen, there will be quite a few teams that will be interested in signing him based off of the talent that he possesses. The New England Patriots appear to be interested in signing him if the opportunity presented itself.
During the 2014 season, Harvin ended up catching 51 catches for 483 yards and a touchdown. At 26 years old, there is still plenty of time for him to turn things around and get his career back on track.

New England is the type of team to bring him on board and help him get things back on track. Tom Brady would help him reignite his career, and he would fit into the type of system that Bill Belichick runs. It would be a very intriguing fit, but Harvin would be very smart to sign with them if heās given the chance.
There arenāt many teams that are as good at building players back up than the Patriots. They have been that way for quite some time, and have helped quite a few different players get back to being difference makers.
It would all depend on what type of deal the Patriots would offer him. He wonāt be asking for a ton of money, but will want to get playing time for whoever gives him a new deal. New England can offer him a very reasonable price, and they can also offer him some playing time alongside of Brandon LaFell and Julian Edelman.
This offseason is going to be crucial for Harvinās future if he wants to get his career back on track. Seattle and New York didnāt use him the way that he needs to be used, and a team like the Patriots know how to build their system to fit the playersā abilities.
Expect to see plenty of rumors surrounding Harvin over the next couple weeks. New York has to decide whether or not they want to bring him back for one more season or save money. More than likely he will hit the open market, and will be available for teams like the Patriots to make a run at.
