The southeast is facing unusual weather with snowstorms and a ton of precipitation this week. It appears the weather and precipitation may have caused a leak in Philips Arena.

The Hawks and Mavericks are doing battle as two of the best teams in the NBA look to rack up as many wins as they can before the playoffs start. With the two teams looking to improve their playoff seeding, a minor hindrance prevented them from playing during the first quarter.

During the first quarter Wednesday night, a leak occurred and the game had to be temporarily delayed until it was fixed.

The crew at Philips Arena quickly had buckets and mops out on the court to clean the water off the court.

Fortunately for everyone, the Hawks twitter account aimed to keep everyone entertained as they usually do.

"This explains why Kyle has no yet. ☔️☔️☔️ — Atlanta Hawks (@ATLHawks) February 26, 2015"

Luckily for all, the leak was cleaned up and the two teams were able to resume play on the court.

Kyle Korver was also able to start hitting some threes as he now has three of them on the night for Atlanta, who takes a lead into the fourth quarter.
