With teams looking to go after bigger corners to follow the mold that the Seattle Seahawks have successfully built, Jones who is 6-foot-1, could be one of those options.
If his combine performance is any indication, he has tremendous athleticism and leaves a lot to be excited about.
He first stole everyone’s attention with his broad jump.
Jones leaped an incredible 12’3, which was the best anyone had done at the combine since 2003.
So naturally, his leaping ability carried over to the vertical leap testing where he recorded an incredible 44 inches.
Jones knows he improved his draft stock and is certainly thankful for his abilities. He took to Twitter to thank his parents for the genetics they gave him.
After a performance like that, it’s easy to see why Jones is excited. He has become one of the more talked about draft prospects and certainly has the athletic ability to make some team happy.
If football doesn’t work out, he certainly has track and field to fall back on.
