Tonight as the hyped matchup between LeBron James and Stephen Curry ensues, Andre Iguodala decided to throw his name into the semi-trending universe.
There’s only a few times in your life when doing “The Superman” applies.

One would be when you ran around the house as a little tot and your pops would thrust you up on his feet and have you “supermanning” through the air.
Another time “The Superman” could be done is when jumping off a 10-foot diving board. Do you risk serious belly-flop concerns in this situation? Sure, but you’d also receive plenty of laughs and cool points from friends and onlookers.
Tonight, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova decided he’d model an example of when “The Superman” applies in a negative and humiliating fashion.
Ouch.
In tonight’s epic showdown between LeBron James and Stephen Curry (as only the NBA can hype a matchup between two players and not two teams), Andre Iguodala snatched an outlet pass and decided to go coast to coast.
Unfortunately for Dellavedova, he found himself in the wrong place at the most inappropriate time.
Iguodala used a left to right cross with a quick step after a slight hesitation to put the Cleveland guard so out of position defensively that he attempted “The Superman” to somehow stop the ball.
The result provided some comic relief on the night.
Cleveland currently leads Golden State by nine points as they sit in the fourth quarter with a little over eight minutes to go.
LeBron has decided to put on a show with 40 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
