Round 7 Pick 222 – Tyler Heinicke QB (Old Dominion)

Like Rodgers, Tyler Heinicke is calm even in a collapsing pocket. The Old Dominion QB knows how to keep his eyes downfield while evading tacklers. He’s a natural-born leader who can orchestrate a two-minute drill, picking up yards with both his legs and his arm.

When Aaron Rodgers has been injured, Matt Flynn —  the backup QB for the last two years — has been wildly inconsistent. During Flynn’s biggest appearance against the Detroit Lions in week 17, he swiftly gave away a 14-point lead. Consequently, Heinicke might be more necessary than Cheese Heads would like to admit.
