It looks as if the Buffalo Bills have found their new quarterback in the form of Josh McCown
Itās been made no secret lately that the Buffalo Bills and new head coach Rex Ryan are in search of someone viable to compete for the starting quarterback position with EJ Manuel, and they may have found that man in the form of journeyman Josh McCown. According to a report from BuffaloNews.com, the two sides have already started negotiations on a deal.
Also it states in the report that a deal could be done as soon as Friday, so there could be a new, finalized development with this some time within the next 24 hours.
McCown visited the Buffalo facility earlier this month and the visit was said to have gone pretty well, for the most part. He hit it off with Ryan, and considering what he has on the roster at the moment, you know that Ryan would love to get this deal done ASAP as he begins his tenure in Buffalo.
In addition to the Bills, since being released from the Buccaneers a few weeks ago, McCown has also had discussions with the Cleveland Browns and the Chicago Bears, who might be looking to bring him back in case the struggles with Jay Cutler come up again.
However, it seems the Bears might be losing out with this one because a deal between McCown and the Bills could be announced within the next 24 hours.
