Dallas Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo spoke at length about his relationship with coach Rick Carlisle after the two had a shouting match Tuesday.
Rajon Rondo and Rick Carlisle have moved on from shouting matches during and after the Dallas Mavericks’ Tuesday night game against the Toronto Raptors that resulted in a one-game suspension for Rondo, so claims the Mavs point guard.

Rondo spoke at length about the incident for the first time on Friday and said, among other things, that he is on the “same page” with the coach and the organization.
"Communication is definitely key in this situation, and we’ve had a couple of talks since then and we’re going to move forward.’’ -- Rondo

It remains to be seen whether or not the Mavericks have truly moved on from this incident or if Rondo is simply trying to downplay the issues he and Carlisle have with one another. ESPN’s Tim MacMahon previously reported that “that friction had been building between” the two.
Through two months, Rondo’s tenure in Dallas has been a disaster. The Mavericks have not improved — in fact, they have had a worse winning percentage since acquiring the point guard in a December trade with the Boston Celtics. Rondo’s averaging just 6.2 assists per game with the Mavs, a significant decrease from the 10.8 per-game average he held with Boston over 22 games this season.
Dallas certainly needs improved play from Rondo if the team wants to have any chance at making a run to the NBA Finals.
