A feathery bystander got in the way of Ian Poulter before his shot on the third hole
Ian Poulter had an impressive round at the Honda Classic before play was suspended because of weather. Poulter finished the round with a -4 for the day, which moved him towards the top of the leader board.

His best stretch came during the third, fourth and fifth holes.
On those holes, Poulter had quite the streak with a birdie-eagle-birdie.
It appears that another feathery figure might have presented Poulter with some good luck before his shot on the third hole.
As Poulter was about to take his shot on the par-5 third hole, a duck walked directly in front of Poulter before he could swing.
Poulter’s caddie then proceeded to chase the duck off the course on foot.
The duck would quickly run off as the caddie chased it out of the way of Poulter.
Poulter would finish with a birdie on the third, before an eagle on the fourth and another birdie on the fifth.
While watching the caddie chase the duck was hilarious, it may have just been the good luck that Poulter needed as he climbs way towards the top of the lead at the Honda Classic.
