The San Antonio Spursā guard didnāt leave much for the imagination on the latest cover of GQ Italia
Marco Belinelli is the latest athlete to show off his almost naked body in a magazine. This time it wasnāt for ESPN Magazineās Body issue but rather the cover of GQ Italia. The cover is a parody of the popular Larry Bird Sports Illustrated Cover with Indiana State cheerleaders.

On the cover, Belinelli is standing naked with both hands behind his head as cheerleaders cover up his private parts with pom-poms.
The strategically placed pom-poms are sure to catch the readers attention as they look at the cover.
Itās a sight many Spurs fans and NBA fans alike probably werenāt expecting to see.

The cover first appeared in the Italian sports newspaper Gazetta dello Sport.
Underneath the cover was an caption which translates to:
"Marco Belinelli blessed among the cheerleaders: the Italian of the NBA champion San Antonio Spurs NBA looks very at ease and very little dress on the cover on the issue of GQ (on newsstands Tuesday), which names him the Italian King of NBA Basketball for the occasion."
So while people are reading the Italian version of GQ featuring the almost nude Belinelli, he will be helping the Spurs as they make their push towards the playoffs in a loaded Western Conference.
