The UT Arlington guard showed no mercy to the UA Little Rock defender

UT Arlington knocked off Arkansas-Little Rock as conference play nears for the Sun Belt Conference. One of the big players in yesterday’s 82-73 win for the Mavericks was freshman guard Kaelon Wilson. Wilson, with a dynamic performance off the bench, had 12 points in 26 minutes off the bench.

During the game, Wilson had a highlight reel dunk that brought everyone to their feet.

Not only did Wilson slam it home over the UA Little Rock defender, after the play he stepped over the defender and asserted his dominance while letting everyone know who the man was.

UA Little Rock’s Mareik Isom never even had a chance. Wilson made sure Isom knew what just happened to as he stepped over him.

The Mavericks moved to 10-8 in conference play as they look to improve their seeding for the conference tournament. If the Mavericks want to win the Sun Belt and represent the conference in March Madness, they’re going to need more big plays from the freshman guard.

One thing is for sure though, Mareik Isom is going to be having nightmares about Wilson for a while.

Dominance Asserted.
