We all know what Odell Beckham Jr can do on the football field, but what about the futbol field?
New York Giants’ wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. had quite the rookie season in 2014. He received for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in just 12 games.
Even after just one pro season, we all know that Beckham Jr. is a pretty good football player, but what about the other football (or futbol, or soccer)?
According to the Pro Bowl receiver, if he had continued with soccer instead of football, he could have been one of the better players in the sport.
Beckham Jr. is an incredible athlete and I would not doubt for a minute that he could be a pro at any sport if he took that path instead of football. Just take a look at this dunk.
OBJ threw down a pretty powerful slam here, if I say so myself.
I am personally glad OBJ chose football over soccer, because if he went that route, he wouldn’t be able to use his hands and make amazing catches like this.
Throw out all of the crazy numbers Beckham Jr. put up this year, this was his finest moment and the play that really got people’s attention. If he had played soccer, it is tough to think of any play he could make that would top this.
Good decision going the NFL route, Odell.
