2. More Help At The Wide Receiver Position
The Oakland Raiders were able to snag James Jones last offseason in free agency, and they are going to be searching for another legitimate starting wide receiver this year. Whether they get that receiver in free agency or the draft, they simply need to make it happen for their young quarterback.
Derek Carr put up impressive numbers in his rookie season despite not having too many legitimate NFL starting wide receivers. Jones came through with a nice season, but outside of that they didn’t have much help. Perhaps they could find a way to sign a name like Randall Cobb this offseason to help boost their offense to the next level.
There are plenty of other options on the market this offseason, but they need to make sure that they come away with one of the better players. If they’re able to do that, then their offense could very well take the next step with the improvement that Carr will likely make.
