Boston Red Sox 2015 season preview and predictions
By Robby Sabo
Will 2015 feature another one of those incredible turnaround jobs by John Farrell and his Boston Red Sox?
Yet again, the folks in Beantown had to suffer through a miserable hot Boston summer.

Yes, not only did their clothes stick to their bodies while sitting in those green seats, John Farrell’s Boston Red Sox group defended the 2013 World Series Championship as poorly as possible.
After winning a MLB best 97 wins in 2013 and rolling through the playoffs en route to their third championship since 2004, Boston dragged to a meager 71-91 record in 2014. They finished in the basement of the AL East, and only the Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers and Houston Astros had fewer victories.
In fact, this team now represents the scariest version of Jekyll and Hyde since…well Jekyll and Hyde.
Prior to the 2011 season the Boston front office decided to reload. They acquired the likes of Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford and many more. While they did come away with 90 victories, they fell short of the playoffs.
2012 became an outright disaster and the higher ups quickly acted – while taking advantage of a Los Angeles Dodgers team with new ownership.
Selling off their high-priced stars, the Sox went in the tank and finished last in the division.
One year later they were hoisting the World Series title, capping off the largest turnaround in MLB history, a 28 game improvement (69 wins to 97 wins).
It seems the Red Sox brass are onto something. Unlike the New York Yankees who refuse to ever resemble a team in even a slight rebuild mode, the Sox have figured a way to re-load after only one calendar year if things dong go their way early.
Brian Cashman and the Yanks could a learn a thing or two from their northern rivals.
After a dreadful 2014, with 2015 on the horizon it yet again looks like one of those upswing seasons for the club.
From worst to first, back to worst again, here’s our Boston Red Sox 2015 season preview and predictions.
