Fantasy Basketball: Anthony Davis Returns And Daily News

Anthony Davis Returns

Anthony Davis made his return and made it in a big way against the Detroit Pistons with 39 points, 13 rebounds, 8 blocks, 2 steals and 3 assists. When he plays he is simply one of the biggest stat stuffers in the NBA. Consider him safe to deploy in your league any time he plays and also in daily fantasy leagues.

Tyler Zeller Nails Buzzer-Beater To Defeat Jazz

It seemed as if the Utah Jazz had the game under control as Gordon Hayward hit a shot with one second remaining in the game.

However, Tyler Zeller had other plans for the Boston Celtics.

Zeller caught the inbound pass, spun and put it in the basket to give the Celtics the win against the Jazz. Zeller has done a decent job of filling in for the injured Jared Sullinger. Over the last 15 days he is averaging 11 points and 6 rebounds in 26 minutes of court time. He is worth a look in 12 team leagues where you might need a center, but he is not going to provide you with very much upside.

Other News and Information

Victor Oladipo of the Orlando Magic put up a career high 38 points on 15 of 25 shooting night that included 4 three-point shots. He also posted four rebounds, three assists and three steals. His fantasy owners are very happy to see that kind of line and although he has been performing well would love to see even more from the young and budding star.

George Hill seems to finally be rounding into form and rewarding his patient fantasy owners tonight with a nice 21 point game. Hill also chipped inĀ three rebounds, six assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 27 minutes. Over his last five games Hill is putting upĀ 15.6 points, 5.2 boards, 6.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.4 treys in 30.4 minutes. It is certainly safe to keep deploying him across all formats.

I have not wanted to mention him, but Andrea Bargnani has been putting in work for the New York Knicks. For me, he is not a recommended play, but he has had some pretty nice games. I feel obligated to tell you, if you are desperate for some help, it would be okay to pick him up and plug him in while he is playing well. With that said, consider him very risky as he can sit out at the drop of a dime.

Kemba Walker has been cleared for all basketball activities and according to Tim Bontemps on Twitter he could possibly make his return as early as March 11 against Sacramento. I would run and not walk to pick up Walker anywhere that he is available as the Hornets will plug him in right away. You may want to try to possibly sell-high on the red-hot Mo Williams if you can. It is nice to see Walker looking to return ahead of schedule.

Russell Westbrook also made his return to the hardwood Wednesday night putting up the line of the season with an incredible 49 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists and a whole bunch of other stuff. I think he may have even stopped at the In and Out and had a triple double with cheese while he was at it too. There really are no words for just how incredible of a game Westbrook had so I will leave you with this dunk to enjoy.
