Troy Polamalu has been on the decline for the past couple of seasons, and his career may actually be coming to an end.
You know what they say, all good things must come to an end.

The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Troy Polamalu with the 16th overall pick in the 2003 NFL draft, and after 12 long seasons, it looks like the two sides are finally going to separate.
According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Steelers feel that Polamalu has played his last game in black and yellow – and now it’s just a matter of how he goes out.
Rapoport reported that Polamalu is not in the plans for Pittsburgh’s next season, and they are hoping that he will retire and walk out on his own rather than them having to release him.
Polamalu will turn 34 next month, and he hasn’t been the same All-Pro player he once was for some time now. It’s been a combination of old age and injuries, but the safety doesn’t force offenses to fear him anymore.
Retirement has been in Polamalu’s sights recently, and it would be great for his career to end the way it began – as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Throughout his career, Polamalu has 576 tackles, 12 sacks, 32 interceptions, 100 passes defensed and three touchdowns.
