The Oakland Raiders are reportedly prioritizing wide receiver Randall Cobb and tight end Julius Thomas in free agency this offseason.
It is going to be a very entertaining offseason this year in the NFL, and plenty of high-profile free agents are available. Two of them are wide receiver Randall Cobb and tight end Julius Thomas.
According to a report from Adam Schefter, the Oakland Raiders are targeting both of them and have made them their top priority.
If the Raiders can land one or both of these players, that could be massive for their future, especially with Derek Carr showing such promise as a potential franchise quarterback.

Cobb would be the biggest pickup of the two, and his talent is absolutely through the roof. Thomas, on the other hand, is a huge target at the wide receiver position. He’s had a lot of success playing with Peyton Manning in Denver, which could be the main reason for his success.
Oakland seems to be trending in the right direction, and signing both of these players would take their offense to the next level and make them very dangerous. If Carr can continue growing his game and reach his full potential, he will have a chance to be one of the top quarterbacks in the game over the next couple of seasons with all of the weapons the Raiders are trying to give him.
