Duke has received a shipment of the Kyrie 1 “Duke Blue Devils”

Last week it was announced that Nike would be making a Kyrie Irving shoe using a Duke colorway. So it’s only fitting that Duke has received a shipment of the shoe for their players.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

Irving was the first pick out of Duke in the 2011 draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Irving has become one of the best players in the league playing with the Cavaliers and now has a new shoe line to boast.

While his career at Duke was cut short to injury, the point guard was still stellar and left an impact on the program.

Now his new shoes pay homage to the legendary basketball program.

While the shoes don’t say Duke on them, or explicitly state anything about the program, it’s easy to make the connection with the color scheme.

The shoes look have a sharp look with the blue, black and white meshing together. The blue diamond pattern towards the back of the shoe by the heel might be the best looking part of the shoe.

The team can thank the NBA All-Star for looking fresh on the court.

Don’t be surprised to see these shoes out on the court when Duke takes the court against rival North Carolina Saturday.
