Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins

There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Miami Dolphins and the way Ryan Tannehill played last season — and rightfully so. Miami hasn’t had a legitimate franchise quarterback since Dan Marino left town.

Tannehill racked up 4,045 yards, 27 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions.

He finally began playing like a true NFL starting quarterback in his third season. That is about the amount of time that it takes for players to adjust to the speed and physicality of the NFL game. Tannehill is poised to break out for the Dolphins in 2015, and the future for the franchise is very bright.

Next up for Miami is making a run at the NFL playoffs.

The Dolphins finished last season with an 8-8 record last season and just fell short. This year, Tannehill will try to get his team to the next level.

Next: Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars
