If free agent cornerback Darrelle Revis gets similar offers from the New England Patriots and teams on the open market, he will reportedly stay in Foxboro.
Darrelle Revis will be one of the top free agent cornerbacks available on the open market, but will he be open to returning to the New England Patriots?

If a recent report is to be believed, he very well could.
According to the New York Daily News, Darrelle Revis is prepared to re-sign with the Patriots if the offer he receives from New England and on the open market are similar.
While Revis is technically still under contract with the New England Patriots, the team is expected to release him by Monday because his $12 million roster bonus becomes guaranteed on March 9.
Of course, they could decide to extend Revis, as well.
It will be interesting to see what happens with Revis when the free agent negotiation period begins. Starting Saturday, Revis and the Patriots can begin discussing a new deal, so we could learn sooner rather than later whether Revis will decide to pursue greener pastures or return to the place where he won a Super Bowl title in his first and only year with the team.
